Thad , et al, I too was going to suggest Eagle-Eye. Anyone up for a convoy? Sunset is about 1945, 67 miles from the in & out at Dysart & I10, say meet around 1800??? Hey all, Well, Ma Nature certainly has us boxed in, with the only real direction is to head West. As AJ pointed out to me, Eagle Eye is probably the best option with it's "slightly" higher elevation. So instead of continuing to worry about it, I vote that we make plans for EE. We could make it a "white light lenient" night (say until 8:30/9:00 ish..) to allow people to show up slightly late so they won't have to contend with the heat. Forecast is for clear and mid-70's overnite. I can handle mid 70's.....Anyone else up for it? (as if there's a lot of options.... ;-/ ) Moonrise is around 3am. Perhaps we all need to purchase more telescope stuff to induce rain..... That or sacrifice a small department store refractor..... Thad -- This message is from the AZ-Observing mailing list.
