Here is a useful site if you like to try your own hand at cloud and water vapor
predictions:

Especially useful in the short range. My android gets 3G service at the
Hovatter AASP site, and I have used this effectively while out there and
wondering.
The Geos Infrared option works at night. The animations are really helpful in
showing what is coming your way.
