Thanks for the reports. The seeing was very good in N Phoenix, in between varying heat waves. Several large sunspot groups. Got pics of the transit using a Canon T3i I borrowed from Costco. Problem is, it looks like a keeper. Great features useful for astro work, like live view, magnified live focusing, flip-out screen. I'm trying to upload to Picasa, must be a traffic jam!
