For perspective, 2 miles west of the Sentinel exit is a rest area. The
low, local hills do a pretty good job of protecting the site.
And reading the above article, it says the rest area will be "near" the
Vekol Valley Road. If the site was east of the exit, it would most likely
be block by the hills.
