Very cool Tom. It is amazing how dynamic it is. I always think of planets as
static objects, but the gas ones change a lot over time.

Subject: [AZ-Observing] Two Jupiters Six Weeks Apart

Last night, Jupiter was presenting the same central meridian during my imaging
session as it was six weeks earlier, when my backyard was under good seeing.
Even though the seeing wasn't quite as good last night, it was good enough to
make this GIF that toggles between the two images. There was all sorts of
processing involved to get the images to match, since I didn't even use the
same camera, much less the same capturing process.

The Great Red Spot changes in latitude and size during those six weeks.
