Very cool Tom. It is amazing how dynamic it is. I always think of planets as static objects, but the gas ones change a lot over time. Even though the seeing wasn't quite as good last night, it was good enough to make this GIF that toggles between the two images. There was all sorts of processing involved to get the images to match, since I didn't even use the same camera, much less the same capturing process. The Great Red Spot changes in latitude and size during those six weeks. http://www.pbase.com/polakis/image/155121919 Tom -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list. -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
