Jimmy, I'm so sorry to hear of your plight, actually your telescopes plight
and hope you will have great success with your home owners policy. Speaking
of wind, that must have been one strong breeze or gust. How bad was the
wind during the day? I just hope it died down after sunset.

To all those whom stood by my side as we gazed at the remains of my CGE-1100
At the Arizona Messier marathon, I need your help in one more matter. My
insurance agent is going to try and run through a claim under my homeowners
policy. He ask if I can get three or four of those of us there to send him
an email / letter as to what happened so they know it was a massive dust
devil / freak windstorm that blew the scope over and not that Jimmy Ray just
dropped it. I did explain that it weighs 200 pounds and took three of us to
pick it back up but independent confirmation is what they are asking for.

mailing address. I would be much indebted as I would much rather pay my $500
deductable with hopes of getting it replaced vs. having a broken, once nice
telescope stuck in the back of the closet. To those who stood by and
commiserated with me, thank you for being such good friends.
