We finally had a very nice cloud-free night last night
around Flagstaff. I was reminded that the gegenschein is
in a good location for viewing between Aries and the tail
of Cetus. It will be slipping just under the Pleiades
in the coming week or two. If you get a chance, try to get
out of the city to see it for yourself.
The link below is from the all-sky camera we have
at Anderson Mesa, showing the scene about 11pm last night.

(if necessary, cut-n-paste the URL into a browser search
window, and be sure the ftp part is explicit)
The Milky Way arches across the top, and the hazy patch
just lower-right of Pleiades is the gegenschein. The dome
of our 42-inch telescope is on the upper-left periphery.
