I am fascinated by the amount of detail you are getting in the Orion =
Nebula
with only 80mm of aperture.  The colors are excellent and the contrast
between bright and dark nebulae is fascinating.  Great image.

Hi all,

Working with a modified DSLR in which the internal IR
blocking filter is modified for astronomical
wavelengths is a challenge, because the color
correction is very different from a stock DSLR.  With
the help of the image processing experts on the IRIS
forum, I finally got it - this image has very close to
G2V color calibration.  Enjoy:
