Bob, Chris, Bruce and I all got to watch the "space chase" last evening. Coming in first place was the ISS. It ran from North to Northeast peaking at around 35º above the horizon. Around 9 minutes later, the shuttle Atlantis followed a similar path across the night sky. They were very easy to spot with the naked eye because of their paths just after sunset. Also, the sliver new Moon and Venus were a great way to follow the sunset from Meyer. A wonderful night of viewing and astrophotography followed until just before astronomical twilight this morning.
