I have had a chance to do some experimenting with simple TEC/Heat Sink/Fan on a DSI Pro. The referenced image is a graph of the Histogram counts for a 1 second exposure starting out at an ambient temperature of about 80 deg F. As can be seen the ADU counts start out around 21,600 and after about 5 minutes are leveling off around 7,000. The graph can be seen at: http://www.hposoft.com/CoolDown.jpg I have tried to take darks before and after cooling, but while there is certainly an improvement it is not as dynamic as watching the ADU counts go down. For a few dollars (under $50 total including power supply) and only modifying the DSI by drilling two mounting hole, the camera can see a significant improvement.
