[AZ-Observing] Still wet up north

Howdy all;

I know that the moon is starting to rise later at night, but it has
still been raining quite a bit in northern Arizona. I am being rained
on as I write this email and it truly stormed yesterday--hail and all.
It would be nice to get a big juicy high pressure center to roll in and
push off the clouds, but that does not seem to be forthcoming.

As I mentioned to some folks at the SAC meeting, it would appear that
last week of August through the first week of September is going to be
the next possibility. We will need a few days of sunshine to get the
water out of the ground to stop dew formation. That would all be nice.
AJ and I have some really great observing lists to complete;-)

See ya;
Steve Coe
