This is a somewhat belated response to this topic, although it has been on my mind for the last few days. The prospect of partitioning the observing field in some manner, sounds great on the surface, but just how does one go about implementing the logistics. Who will be the "cop", or parking director, to tell everyone where to park? This person will have to be there, almost before everyone else, to ask each as they get there what their observing plans and ETD are, then direct them to the appropriate place. What if they choose not to follow parking directions? Now what happens when there are multiple entries to the observing field? Block other entries, have more than one director? Someone suggested that guests have the rules explained to them and that goes a long way to resolving the problem. aj saguaroastro.org --- This message is from the AZ-Observing mailing list.
