For tonight's ISS pass, I set up the 10-inch and added a 2.5x Barlow with the digital video camera. In order to prevent motion blur, the camera has to record at 1/2000 second or faster. This resulted in very faint images on the chip at f/15, even though the ISS was as bright as Venus. Out of the 7791 frames taken in just over two minutes, five were good enough to put into this time-lapse animated GIF. http://www.pbase.com/image/124690744 Tom -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
