For the past ten days or so, solar observers have been following a large
filament that has reached the receding limb today, resulting in a nice
prominence. Here's a sequence of 30 frames taken over a period of a half
hour this morning. I used a Lunt 100mm solar telescope, single-stacked to
better reveal the prominences and spicules.
