That image gives a good idea of the size of the HST compared to the Shuttle. 
What is the angular size of the shuttle at the height of the HST? Looks like it 
might be on the order of 10arcsec.

Thierry Legault's excellent image of both the Shuttle and HST above the
disc of the sun is here.  He traveled from France to Florida with his
equipment to get on the path.
