Hi all, Here is the final image from my shooting spree up in Happy Jack, a nested pair of star clusters in Canis Major which rides high early on March evenings in the south. This cluster is so huge that I have never photographed it to its best advantage but here, I can now fit it perfectly in the 2.5 degree field of my Orion Astrograph. It is a plethora of stunning colors and sparkle! You might be interested that Steve Coe has a catalog of huge open clusters, that currently consists of 2 objects. Ask him about that one some time... http://www.schursastrophotography.com/xtiastro/cr132.html Thanks for Looking, Chris Schur's Web Portal: http://www.schursastrophotography.com -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
