Chris, I have tried longer exposures, but they invariably blast the disc of Saturn to the point of saturation. Chris Go, one the best planetary imagers, is routinely capturing the inner satellites. I never know whether to consider his work inspirational or discouraging. Here is his Saturn gallery. http://saturn.cstoneind.com/ Tom -----Original Message----- From: Chris Schur Thats really cool Tom! The rings get brilliant at that time. Have you tried longer exposures to get some of the really dim close in satellites? -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
