Sounds like you have a great place to have a star party!! Come to the next
meeting of Saguaro Astronomy Club-- Friday June 21st (the longest day of the
year) 7:30 at Grand Canyon University. Enter the campus at the traffic
light on 33rd Ave.--our meeting is in the Fleming Building (last building on
the right side) you'll see a SAC sign. Hope to see you there. Wish you
could make it out to Eagle Eye with us. Good luck with your house.

You are welcome. This is most important to me as I have 6 acres and an
A-Frame cabin on top of Spruce Mountain (7.500 feet) right in the middle
of PNF. I'm going to try to get up there this weekend and clear some
fallen trees and brush. I'm very worried about fire. I think they will
let me in as I'm a property owner.
I was surprised at all the road closures and when I saw Cherry Road I
thought about those who go up there on weekends. That's a long trip only
to have to turn around and come back.
One of these weekends I'll try to make on of the observing trips.
BTW, how does one join the club?
