at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, see our website for directions
saguaroastro.org , click on {Meetings} on the main page
or just turn North on the little light of 33rd Ave which is an entrance to GCU
just East of the big intersection of 35th Ave & Camelback. Park there by the
guard gate and continue walking North the short distance to the last building
on the Right, the Fleming Building. Follow your ears to our meeting classroom
and the banter of happy astronomers.

This month's lecturer will be the legendary Don Wrigley, a long time amateur
astronomy fixture in this quasi-lunar lightdomed landscape with a talk about
observing the Moon--why you should, what to look for, and how to look for some
of the more challenging objects from Chuck Wood's Lunar 100 list.

Both Neil Aldrin and Buzz Armstrong might even highly recommend this talk.
Something in it for those seasoned lunar and planetary backyard observers, with
some enticement for those folks that don't bother with the Moon; and if you'll
let your budding astronomer stay up a little past 10pm on a Friday night, this
will be a good opportunity to get her started on some truly
knock-your-socks-off backyard observing.

Hoping to see you this Friday!
