Hi,
A friend of mine is writing a PhD thesis. While Astronomy is not the subject
of the thesis, he does reference astronomical data related to Julian Day
Numbers (JDN) and lunar ephemeris tables to calculate historical dates. I
told him I would take a look, but it is a little out of my league. If anyone
out there has a degree in Astronomy or is familiar with the topics I
mentioned, and would be willing to review the paper for correctness, please
let me know. He is looking for someone that has experience with the JDN and
lunar ephemeris tables. Experience in the biblical Hebrew calendar or
calculating historical dates is a plus.
If you think you can help or know someone who could, please let me know. He
is willing to pay a fee for the review.
