I found the April 1 article from the OCR in the "cache" part of their web pages, you can go to the web page listed below and read it for yourself. I would repeat that this is mainly about Meade's plans, and speculation on the part of the reporter re: Celestron. I found the article by searching with yahoo on “Meade merger”. http://216.109.117.135/search/cache?p=celestron+merger&sm=Yahoo%21+Search&toggle=1&ei=UTF-8&u=www.ocregister.com/ocr/2005/04/01/sections/business/business/article_464823.php&w=celestron+merger&d=24F219A20C&icp=1&.intl=us <http://216.109.117.135/search/cache?p=celestron+merger&sm=Yahoo%21+Search&toggle=1&ei=UTF-8&u=www.ocregister.com/ocr/2005/04/01/sections/business/business/article_464823.php&w=celestron+merger&d=24F219A20C&icp=1&.intl=us> By clicking on “cache” at the Orange County Register site, I could read the article without having to sign up. I note that the article carries a date of April 1st!! Quoting the article, “Joseph Lupica, Celestron's chief executive, could not be reached.” Gene Lucas (17250) Jeff Hopkins wrote: >Thanks Rick. > > I tried to find information on the copyright, but could not.
