Albert,

I started this discussion by asking (only on SAC-Forum) if anybody on that list
is *not also* on AZ-Observing. Only one person indicated as such. I
suspected that there was no need to post an image link to SAC-Forum (and maybe
EVAC) if all of those members are also on AZ-Observing. Currently,
many of us are getting triply redundant messages and the associated triple
replies. It seems like anybody who is interested in posting about observing
(visual or imaging) in Arizona would then join and use AZ-Observing, and
reserve the two club forums for club discussions. We would then still get to
see
everybody's image announcements, but reduce the traffic substantially.

Note that SAC-Forum does still provide a useful function for SAC-related
discussions. One exception in which posting to SAC-Forum and AZ-Observing
seems
reasonable is meeting announcements, when folks from outside of SAC are
welcomed
to attend our meetings.

My intention was not to discourage people from posting links to their images,
rather, it was to reduce redundant e-mail management.

Tom
