[AZ-Observing] Proof that Astronomy Equipment and Rain are related

First, I'm sorry. Really sorry. I ordered astro toys and made it cloudy.
In the future I promise to exercise the necessary discipline to only
purchase such items during fuller phases of the moon. As I was driving my
wife to lunch just prior to noon (at 11:35 am - note the time) up the 101,
we were discussing the weather forecast for the weekend and the likelihood
that I would again be shut out by the weather for the weekend. Just at that
moment, it rained quite steadily on us for a couple of minutes - at which
time she joked that the equatorial wedge and DSI Imager I had ordered must
have just arrived in Phoenix.

Moments ago I checked the tracking on my order to discover that indeed, my
package was scanned into the Phoenix sorting facility at 12:44 PM. Maybe
I'm paranoid, but that seems like definite proof to me that the rain and
astro-toys are definitely related. If it wouldn't get me thrown out of the
state, I would consider conducting additional, more strictly controlled
tests to establish this link. But alas, I'd rather observe.

Again, I apologize!!! :-)

Mike
