There is currently a nice occultation of the Pleiades by the Third Quarter moon
in progress. The humidity is at monsoon levels in Arizona, adding a bit of
undesirable haze to the scene, but it's clear. Here is a grab with my Canon
20D through a TV101. 1/2 second at ISO 200 showed the Earthshine and stars
best, but unfortunately also showed the haze.

The moon is moving roughly right to left in this scene. Electra has just
emerged, and Alcyone is about to be covered.
