The New Mexico State Legislature has declared a
"Planet Pluto Day".

It is my understanding that it is now illegal to call
Pluto a Dwarf Planet in the State of New Mexico.

Apparently, the penalty is writing "Pluto is a Planet"
100 times plus attending a star party where Planet
Pluto is observed.

I believe the great State of Arizona, where Pluto was
discovered from Lowell Observatory, in good old
Flagstaff, can do no less.

I strongly recommend the Arizona State Legislature to
declare an "Arizona Planet Pluto Day".

By the way, a group of TAAA members will attempt to
observe Pluto's stellar occultation next Sunday March
18, in support of professional observations, in a
campaign organized by Claude Plymate. See page below
for details.
