Last night was an interesting evening. At sunset it was nearly completely clouded over. There was vast cloud-to-cloud lightning to the East. Since I am providing supporting photometric data for an interferometry project at the US Naval Observatory in Flagstaff, I wanted to get as much data during the week as I could. I turned on all my equipment and went to play darts. When I came back the sky was completely clear and indeed a photometric night. I was able to get good photometric UBVJH data. So again while the evening probably would not qualify as photometric for some, it was indeed photometric for me.
