You might ask Stan Gorodenski. He lives up near there.

What about Cherry Rd has anyone been by there or up there that could chime
in?

Thanks, Steve. That about decides it for me then. The meadow will be too
soft for setting up. Our cars would make deep ruts, and I am sure the Natl
Park Serv would not appreciate that. Plus, our scopes may settle during
the night with resulting worse and worse target acquisition. I think I'll
sit this one out. We have a forecast of mostly clear skies tonight and
tomorrow night, so I will probably set up the 6-inch on the patio and have a
fan run to cool me off. No need to worry about dew, I guess. Just sweating
to death!

Richard, et al;

I am sitting in the RV and being stormed on right now, 4 in the afternoon
on Saturday. It has been raining off and on all day...OK, I got up at
Noon. I will certainly post what is happening so that other folks can
decide what they want to do.

Ken, I have not driven down to the site, I may do that tomorrow and see
what the road to the meadow looks like and what the meadow itself is like
for setting  up.

I would also be concerned about dew, lots of "dew buster" equipment sits
unused in Arizona telescope equipment, you might take it out and make
certain it still works;-) Even a full day of sunshine will not evaporate
the amount of rain that we have had over the past 3 days.

Hoping for  the best;
Steve Coe
