Hi All,
Sorry to be WAY late in posting these, but some health issues arose prior
to GCSP this year, and came to a head just afterward. Things are going
great right now, but it does feel like I was shot at and missed. More in the
prologue.
All of you who participated in the North and South Rim GCSP this year were
part of something special; not only the memorial for Joe Orr, but the
award of Provisional International Dark Sky Park status to Grand Canyon
National Park. But even more special was your opening of the night sky for
the
Park visitors and raising environmental awareness of our home universe. Your
contributions, one visitor at a time, were priceless and, as always,
highly appreciated by the Park, and by the visitors. For those of you who
haven't yet joined Steve Dodder on the North Rim, or myself on the South Rim,
in
supporting the Park outreach mission, please consider joining us in the
future for one night, the whole week, or anything in between. And thanks to
all of you who joined in!
