Oops. The moving object in those images, whose position was suspiciously a
bit different, is in fact an asteroid, identified as 110845 2001 UE74. Its
predicted magnitude was 18.7. I should have checked first.

Subject: [AZ-Observing] OSIRIS-REx Spacecraft Imaged from the City
OSIRIS-REx is an asteroid sample return mission that was launched one year
ago. It is now approaching Earth in a "gravity assist" maneuver to
toward the asteroid. Closest approach to Earth is 16,000 miles onSeptember
22, but it is currently 2 1/2 million miles away.my
I was surprised to detect the small spacecraft, which is at the limit of
telescope at its urban site. Look for a small dot moving from 10 o'clockto
4 o'clock position. Each exposure was 4 minutes. The field of view isone-tenth
of a degree.
