Hi, This is an image of NGC3521. This spiral galaxy is about 26 million light years away in the constellation Leo. This is a flocculent spiral galaxy. Flocculent spiral galaxies are patchy, with discontinuous spiral arms. Since it is in Leo there are dozens of background galaxies in the full frame version. http://www.azstarman.net/NGC3521.htm Comments or suggestions are welcomed.
