Hi all, While our 12 inch is in process of repair, we currently have an 8" f/4 astrograph from Orion mounted on the AP1200. Last night we had the opportunity to a first test shot with the new ST10xme on the 8 inch, with the Baader coma corrector mounted on the front of the CCD. This set up has been perfect with the DSLR, but I cannot get the corrector anywhere near the right spacing with the CCD, because of the configuration of the filter wheel. So the coma is there, but at least I'm imaging again. I think in the future, this instrument will be reserved for use with the DSLR. But Im showing this image to you guys anyway to show I am at least trying my best right now... http://www.schursastrophotography.com/ccdimagepages/ngc281-2.html Clear Skies, Chris Schur's Web Portal: http://www.schursastrophotography.com -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
