Hi,
I posted a version of this image earlier this week. Thanks to feedback from
Bruce on the Planewave group I too another run at it. He pointed out a post
by Bob Frank about the reddish hue of this galaxy due to its low galactic
altitude, and how to correct it. You can see more detail here.

Based on this information, I reprocessed the image and I have to admit, I
like the new one better. If you are not tired of this one by now and
wouldn't mind taking a look at the new image (top link) and the original
image (bottom link) and letting me know which you prefer, I would appreciate
it. Thanks to Bruce and Bob for some great feedback.
