Hi,
This is an image of NGC 6946. It is a face on spiral galaxy about 22 million
light years away on the boundary between the constellations of Cepheus and
Cygnus. It is about 40,000 light years in diameter which is about one third
the size of the Milkyway galaxy. It is part of the Virgo supercluster.
Comments and suggestions appreciated.
