Paul, I don't know about that, but thanks for the complement. One thing is for sure, it is REALLY fun getting to play with REALLY good data. No gradients or sky glow, what a concept :-) Bernard -----Original Message----- From: az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of L Knauth Sent: Saturday, August 25, 2012 10:32 AM To: az-observing@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [AZ-Observing] Re: NGC 4038 (The Antenna Galaxies) from the Hubble Legacy Archive Wow! You improved it. Do more of them! Since I can't take any of my own images, I decided to try processing some of the Hubble Images. You can download raw images from the Hubble Legacy Archive (http://hla.stsci.edu ) so I decided to give it a try. Below is a link to my first effort at processing a Hubble image. It is an image of NGC 4038, The Antenna Galaxies, which are a pair of colliding galaxies about 45 million light years away in the constellation of Corvus. http://www.azstarman.net/HUBBLE_NGC4038.htm Bernard -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list. -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list. -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
