Brian Skiff recently solicited astroimagers for an image of NGC 1788
during a recent discussion of its status as a reflection or emission
nebula. There is a good one available that was taken by Adam Block, who
runs the KPNO visitor program. See
http://www.noao.edu/outreach/aop/observers/n1788.html.

This is also an opportunity to call attention to a very nice feature in
Google's search engine, which is new to my knowledge. Go to
http://www.google.com/advanced_search. Just over halfway down the page is
an image search box. Key in "NGC 1788" or your favorite object, and it
returns with thumbnails from various pages it has found. This is a very
nice addition to the default option of going to the Digitized Sky Survey.

NGC 1788 appears mostly bluish on Adam's image, by the way.
