Howdy all; Last night it was miserable, cold temperatures and lots of wind. I did manage to get several wide field images, just as a momento of the worst conditions in which I have been out doing astronomy. The session did not last long. By 8:30 PM all four of us (me, Al Steiwing, Ken Neiff and Lynn Blackburn) were in my Winnebago watching Demotition Man on Direct TV. The good news is the the antenna did not blow over, again. After they went to bed I watched some Discovery Channel and read a book for a while. The good news is that I have awakened to a much nicer weather situation. It is warming up and the wind has finally died down to 10 mph or less. Tonight I am planning more photos and I want to do some wide field observing in Monoceros and Puppis. I know that several folks are going to join in, hope to see you here; Steve Coe -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
