The last time I was at Mt. Graham with a telescope was around 1978. I wanted to get at a high elevation at really dark skies. I got to the 10,000 ft elevation, but as luck would have it, that weekend pollution moved in from California and it really lit up the skies. The next time I was in Mt. Graham was in 1999, but without a telescope. Since my original visit in 1978, it appears some roads have been blocked off, or eliminated. I could not see a good place to set up a telescope and spend the night, but I am sure something can be found. Stan richard wrote: > > Has anyone been to the Mount Graham area to observe.
