Len Bright has the image-motion monitor running again tonight: http://www.lowell.edu/~lpb/NPOI/rt/seeingStats.html ..which is running steadily at 1".0 seeing. Although we are again under an upper-level ridge, the post-trough NE wind is blowing moderately. This usually brings poor seeing but obviously things aren't too bad. The local ClearSkyClock, from this morning's model run, shows us with turquoise "moderate" seeing. By comparison, a similar system running at Apache Point shows somewhat softer seeing: http://galileo.apo.nmsu.edu/sky-bin/seeingstatus ...though they are just on the back side of the trough that's centered now in Oklahoma/Kansas. \Brian -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
