Thought this might be of interest...................Joe

The Smart 1 space craft is going to be crashed onto the surface of the Moon in
plain view of the observers of the World. Whether is happens when the Moon is
up for you location is another matter. You can get the best information and
latest updates on the impact that is suppose to take place on September 3, 2006
at three possible orbit passes around the Moon. These times are 00:36 UT at
43.5 West - 36.4 South, 05.41 UT at 46.3 West - 36.4 South and 10:46 UT at 49.0
West - 36.3 South. It will be just passed the sunrise terminator so the flash
may be bright enough to be visible in small telescopes. The best web site to
check on the latest progress of this event is ESA Science & Technology web
site. http://sci.esa.int/science-e/www/area/index.cfm?fareaid=98
