Time to re-aluminize our mirrors. From today's early morning Phoenix forecast
discussion:
FOR PHX...THE AVERAGE DEW POINT FOR WED WAS 59 DEGS WHICH IS THE THIRD DAY IN A
ROW WITH AN AVERAGE DEW POINT AT OR ABOVE 55. SO BY LOCAL DEFINITION THE
MONSOON SEASON BEGAN ON JULY 18.
Also from the NWS site: The average start date for the monsoon is July 7, and
the latest on record was July 25.
