I guessed Mars was about 1/3 of a lunar diameter west of the Moon. Viewing it compared to the ground, Mars was about at the 1:00 o'clock position to the Moon. Mars' color was a neat contrast with the Moon. The clouds cooperated, parting just enough to see the event! Rick R.
