I was kind of surprised just how short of an exposure was required. I keep
seeing all of these images in the magazines that take minutes/hours/days to
expose. So I started out in the 1-2 second range. Kept getting this bright
fuzzy image. Kept thinking my focus was off. But no, it was just way over
exposed. Tried 1/30 on a lark and that came out looking something like what I
was hoping for.
It’s going to take some time to get a feel for what exposure is needed for what
objects. And for how to use all my thrown together bits.
