This is an image of M63, also known as NGC 5055 or the Sunflower Galaxy. It
is a spiral galaxy about 0 million light years away in the constellation
Canes Venatici. It is a flocculent (meaning fluffy) galaxy which means it
does not have well defined spiral arms but ha arms that are patchy and
discontinuous. It is about 98,000 light years in diameter which is about the
same size as our Milkyway Galaxy.
