Subject: [AZ-Observing] M-050; NGC 2323; "A Heart-Shaped Cluster"
I am in the process of “re-imaging several hundred objects from my
library, including many of the Messier and Caldwell objects.
Last night, I captured M-050. Yup… during an almost full moon! You can do
that with Open Clusters…
The result is here:

The issue for me here, is… where is the “heart ??
I’m normally pretty good at “connecting the dots…. But in this
case, I can not see it !!
I’ve looked on the web, at many many images, and articles, but cannot find
one the outlines where the “heart is…
If it was/is so prominent that it was “named… You would think I
should be able to find it.
Can anyone reference a drawing to “show me the way ??
