Are not Leonids at some 70 km/s, as fast as Orionids. That's why I thought they were streaking Leonids, plus having Leonid fever and also thought a few could be seen before midnight and a day or two before and after the peak. Jack The difference in speed between the Leonids and Taurids ought to be pretty obvious.
