This is getting a little ahead since the Leonids do not occur until next month. In that it will be near full moon, not the best sky to observe a meteor shower, will anyone be taking special pains to observe them like they did last year? Will anyone be making special trips (up to a hundred or more miles) to see them? I am sure valuable scientific data can still be obtained, but if one is observing the shower for its potential to be spectacular, probably just a short ride out of Phoenix would suffice.
