15480 Empire Rd. Benson, AZ 85602 hm ph: 520-586-2244 Just to verify your guys' observations -- that good seeing bubble predicted by CSC never seemed to reach Southern AZ either. It was actually much better the preceding few days. Our skies seemed to be dusty along with the mediocre seeing. Did anybody see any Leonids? I saw one very nice meteor a couple days before the max, and saw one bright Leonid the night of the max, but no sign of big activity. For not-so-good seeing, your results seem pretty good to me. I would be quite happy to see that after an evening's efforts. Having taken your head's up the other night and set up a C8 for imaging, I also found the seeing to be less than optimal. Also, I had gotten giddy after obtaining some remarkably crisp shots during opposition in August. The problem is, I have not been able to duplicate the results from that night. I'm going through the motions, but the consistency isn't there. So, does this mean an almost Dark Blue series of squares on CSC still doesn't promise steady sky?
