During this past weekend's moonlight hike in the Grand Canyon, several of
us made noises about Plateau Point being a good place. Okay, maybe that's
extreme meteor observing.
We did notice that the Cygnus Milky Way is more visible from a dark (and
high) site with the moon in the sky than it is from Phoenix with no moon.
So it's worth traveling outside of town. I would like to be at a place
with a photogenic foreground.
