[AZ-Observing] Fred Vrba to Speak at SAC Meeting on Friday, May 6

Join us this Friday, May 6 for the meeting of the Saguaro Astronomy Club.  The 
speaker will be Fred Vrba of the US Naval Observatory.  He will speak about two 
subjects:

A Behind the Scenes Look at USNO
A Survey of  Geosynchronous Satellite Glints

After beginning his academic work at the University of Iowa where he studied 
with James Van Allen, Dr. Vrba has worked at the US Naval Observatory, 
Flagstaff Station for 35 years, where he is the Chief of the Infrared Astronomy 
and Remote Sensing Division.

 
The SAC meeting is held at Grand Canyon University at 7:30 p.m.  Here are the
