Reminds me a bit of the time Tom P almost set the eyepiece projection screen
on fire showing a transit of Mercury.

Terrible waste of a fine instrument! Can't believe it would just be left out
on the porch like that. To think of all of us who would die to have a C-14
like that. (Well maybe not that one just now but with a little cleaning just
maybe :-)
